2011- Harvester for leek by Simon (France)…Row spacing from 30 to 34 inches…Leeks are lifted on a same principle as a carrot harvester but the foot is vibrating and the base of the leek goes through 4 stages (3 vibrating feet and crumbling fingers) before going to the side conveyor…Stalks are cut by discs at the entrance of the head…Rotating brushes to lift foliage…Rollers of the picker are made of teflon and grease free…The vertical conveyor has a left-right movement to distribute the leeks in the pallox…When the box is full, the harvester takes another via its charger (see video)…Everything is driven by the hydraulic pump on the PTO, no hydraulic output required…This harvester is ready for the field…About 48 pallox can be included with the harvester…See video for more details…Other photos on request…We clear and ship quickly anywhere in USA and Canada, just ask!
